Choose the position and package count for your Ranger
Match your Ranger XP 1000 cab and year range, then select the upper or lower position and the number of ball joints you need. The new package labels state the total quantity: an upper-and-lower pair contains two joints, while two uppers and two lowers contains four. A two-joint upper package supplies two uppers, not an upper-and-lower pair.
For the earlier 2017–2020 upper choices and the 2017 standard-cab or 2017–2018 crew lower choices, the plain Upper or Lower label identifies one ball joint. The selected year and position still apply; those lower-joint ranges do not extend to every year in the upper-joint range.
A threaded, serviceable Keller design
Keller ball joints use a two-piece threaded housing rather than a snap ring for retention. One section presses into the A-arm and the other threads onto its back. The 4340 chromoly construction is paired with a greaseable, adjustable and rebuildable design for ongoing service.
Upper joints for 2021-and-newer Ranger models use a larger stud. Choose the correct year and position rather than assuming every upper and lower joint is interchangeable. Follow the manufacturer’s installation and maintenance instructions for the selected part.
