Plan your complete X3 portal build
Eight-inch GDP portals put additional lift and gear reduction at the hubs of a compatible Can-Am Maverick X3. Choose Standard or MAX, select an offered housing and idler combination, then match the reduction to its mounting package. Each complete combination identifies a specific kit.
Choose the required components
- A compatible SuperATV frame stiffener is required. Choose a package with the correct stiffener unless it is already installed. Selecting the already-owned option does not remove this requirement.
- Offered configurations include 45%, 60% and 70% reductions, with cast or billet housings and single or dual idlers. Not every combination is offered. Mounting-package choices are shown alongside their reduction so that the selected kit remains clear.
- The kit includes four assembled portal hub boxes with 9310 gears, four universal hubs and slotted rotors, four backing plates, four caliper mounting plates, extended brake lines and required hardware, including the recessed castle nut socket.
- A steering stop kit is included with dual-idler configurations only. A frame stiffener or winch-mount package is included only when selected.

- Increases width by 4 in. per side (8 in. total)
- 1.5 in. diameter 4340 hardened steel drive shaft
- Housings use advanced gaskets or O-rings that don’t let anything through
- Universal hubs can be set up to work with the following bolt patterns: 4/156, 4/137, 4/115, and 4/110

Supplier tire-clearance reference
- The supplier lists up to 40-inch tires with stock suspension and up to 40-inch tires with its specified 3-inch lift setup.
- The supplier lists up to 46-inch tires with its specified 6-inch lift setup.
- These reference sizes were measured at full compression and full steering turn. Check the exact suspension, wheels and clearance for your build before ordering.
