Configure your Defender HD5 cab heater
Add adjustable coolant-powered heat to a compatible Defender HD5 DPS cab for cold-weather chores and trail rides.
Choose the package you need
- Heater Only and Heater + Grille Cover are separate packages. A grille cover is not included with every choice.
- The quick-start flow valve and idle flow pump are separate optional upgrades. The valve redirects coolant during warm-up; the pump helps maintain coolant circulation at idle. Heat output and warm-up time depend on operating conditions.
Installation and fitment checks
Match the exact engine designation, year, trim and cab layout to the selected kit. HD5, HD7, HD8 and HD9 are not interchangeable fitment labels. Drilling through plastic is required; the supplier includes the necessary drill bits. Review the installation instructions for the exact package before routing coolant hoses or connecting wiring.
Heater features
- Adjustable temperature and fan settings with adjustable vents.
- Defrost hose and vent included for the listed installation.
- High-grade radiator hoses, mounting hardware and instructions supplied for the selected kit.
- The heater uses engine coolant for warmth and connects to the vehicle power system; it is not an independent fuel-fired heater.
