Build a 8-inch Commander portal setup
SuperATV GDP portals combine hub-level lift with gear reduction for the listed Can-Am Commander applications. Choose the available housing, reduction and idler configuration, then confirm the mounting package and complete vehicle setup.
Before you order
- Confirm the exact 1000R submodel, year and standard or MAX layout against the application list. Do not treat every 2021+ Commander as the same application.
- The supplier calls for a frame stiffener. Select the add-on package if needed; the already-owned choice does not include a new stiffener.
- Choose the offered cast or billet housing and 45% or 60% reduction combination. Verify the exact idler configuration and kit contents.
Wheel requirements
- 22-inch or larger wheels with no more than 5 inches of backspacing.
- Wheel center hole must be at least 3.25 inches (82.55 mm), or the supplier requires a 1-inch wheel spacer.
Tire clearance depends on the vehicle generation and suspension setup. Check clearance at full steering lock and suspension compression; portal height alone does not determine the tire size you can run.
